Anyone here ever seen a Naree-Pon?

There is a Buddist legend about this plant that makes seed pods that look exactly like a tiny mummified person. It grows in Thailand I think. I've only seen a couple photos, and they are very detailed with facial features and joints and stuff. I seem to remember some thing on TV where they've x-rayed them and they have seeds and normal plant stuff inside. I know there are lots of people here who have spent time in southeast Asia. Has anyone ever seen one of these things before, or have some pictures? What do you know about them. Is this just another thing like the aligator lady. Maybe someone from the area can tell us the legend.

I saw it on a TV show last year, I believe it was TLC showing urban legends.

Anyway, these tiny little elephants swim in the rivers and they poke you with their tusks and make you bleed to death. They claim to have examples and showed what looked like minature elephants with complete skeletons when x-rayed.

I've heard of those, but I didn't know they had actually done any tests on one or anything.

Bump for the day group.
