Anyone here ever own a sugar glider?

My roommate was thinking about buying one, but I've heard some stories about them being difficult pets. Anyone have any experiance in the matter?

I was bitten by a sugar glider once. They have very sharp little teeth, and I've been told that they often bite when moody. Maybe they need some Prozac or something.

Flying squirrel-type critter. Not a great pet, IMHO.

They are not exactly super-domesticated. Cute, interesting.... but pretty wild at heart.

The sugar glider is an Australian marsupial that resembles a cross between an opossum and a flying squirrel. They are very cute, but can be troublesome pets. And, as I said before, they bite like sonsofbitches.

Buy an Australian Bearded Dragon. Tons more fun, easier to maintain and they have great personalities. I don't know of many snakes that have personalities other than those here on the forums

An Australian Bearded Dragon? That sounds pretty exotic. I'm going to go check out the pet store in a few weeks after I do some research. Now, I'm thinking about getting one too.
