Anyone here ever get into a fight?

I've never gotten into a fight, because I was always scared of getting hurt. I've always wondered what it is like to go toe to toe with someone. I've been watching fight videos on You Tube all night! Fighting doesn't look too bad!

My muscles are starting to ache, and my blood is starting to boil!

I wanna fight! 😡

But, I will probably go to bed soon. 🙁

In the 80's where I grew up we didn't fight. We smoked weed and drank and were friends with everyone. Of course, it helped that everyone we knew lived in wealthy suburbia and went to private school.

Not really.

I wouldn't call it a fight. Some guy at the bar was harassing people I was there with. I asked him to leave. I told him to leave. He stayed. I helped him leave.

I got into fights/scuffles/bitchslapfests all the time as a kid until expulsion in 6th grade, although I continued some homemade Fight Club stuff with my brothers and our old sparring gear for a few years after.

Never really got into any major fights. only time I ever got into any sort of major altercation was on the school bus in high school. Kid right behind me pulled a lighter out and lit my hair on fire. So I spun around and put a pencil halfway through the meaty part of his thigh and then when he fell in the aisle I gave him a few hard kicks in ribs pretty sure I heard at least one crack.

People gave me wide berth after that.

Second time wasn't really a fight. Couldn't kill the dude because I couldn't breathe. Kid punched me so hard in the sternum he broke it and I could breathe for a good minute or so I just collapsed and gasped like a dying fish full of rage.

On a related note having your sternum broken is fucking awful just breathing painful and they can't do shit other than let it heal.

When I was younger, yes but not now. Not worth it unless it is absolutely necessary/no other way.

I spar three times a week. Havent done a tournament in a long time. Last real fight was a bar fight over a decade ago and I felt sorry for the guy so I never really hit him hard.

Forgot about this as well. When most of us old timers got into a fight it was over with and we usually became friends or at least respected each other more for the most part.

Nowadays people hold grudges and people end up escalating and someone ends up shot or stabbed. I practice Chinna for this reason.

As a kid, no. Grew up in an affluent area where we didn't do that kind of stuff.

As an adult, I've come close. But I'm kind of a badass, so people tend to back off when I start getting serious.

You should be ashamed to even ask that question. A man is not a real man until he's had some fist fights.

Dont make a living out of it, but never, ever shy away from an opportunity to embrace pure masculinity. You need to find out what you're made of at least once in your life.

Uh, just so you know, the reason grown men don't fight is because past the age of about 16 you both have enough strength to easily permanently injure or kill each other. Anyone advocating trying out a random fist fight as an adult is an idiot.

That said, I would consider taking up boxing classes. They're ridiculously cheap, you'll get into shape, and while the option to step into a ring with a real opponent is available, you don't absolutely have to if you don't want to. It's a nice outlet for us cooped up office workers.

A few, but I try to avoid them and only fight against willing people in a gym environment with rules and gear. Real fighting against random people on the street is brutal and it's not worth fucking someone up for the rest of their lives in some way unless your life/limb absolutely depends on it and you have no other choice.

Find a gym or some place that does boxing or MMA if you want to have fun doing it.

Yes, I have many times. However, I am not a good fighter. Now I have never actually lost a fight, but I have gotten pretty scruffed up. Considering I have had a few people that I was friends with pass away from fighting I avoid them at all cost.
