Anyone here ever build small robots or robot-like projects?

I'm just curious if anyone has built any little projects with off the shelf stuff and designed anything. Thinking about making something with mobility that is centered around a VIA mini-ITX system. Not sure what it would be for (yet) but it would be fun to design and build.

I've looked at some little robot kits but they look boring, limited, and targetted at 12 year olds.

i make big robots for a living. =)

we do medical robots mainly. but Im doing some microprocessor stuff on the side right now.

you need to remember the mini ITX use quite a bit of power. your batteries have to be fairly large.
