gotcha. 😉

<< is your cat going to follow you to Europe too? 😀 >>

hell no 😀

<< Ever been to a country where everyone is really beautiful?
It can be a bit startling at first.

Hehe...I have never felt so short or ugly as I did in Holland. Everyone is tall, beautiful and well-dressed. Bastards.😉

Anyway, you'll probably find that most people speak English to varying degrees and will likely want to speak to you (a native speaker) for practice. You kinda have to learn English when there's only one country in the world that speaks your native tongue. Learn as much basic stuff as you can prior to heading over there if you can....always nice to at least attempt to communicate in the local language.

Cool, thanks for the info. As soon as a decide on a country (sweden or holland) i plan on getting a few books on basic phrases and what not and try to learn as much as possible over the summer.

They're both great although the weather can be kinda flaky (read: grey) in holland whereas Sweden is gorgeous in the (short) summer. Inhabitants of both countries are incredibly laid-back and friendly. Just be prepared to drink like a fish if you go to Sweden...they take their Aquavit pretty seriously up there. Meals are often served with a small glass for the Aquavit that gets constantly refilled by your hosts....turn it over if you think you're about to pass out or they'll keep filling it.😉

Haha, i just found out the school i was lookin at in holland is right next to Six Flags - Holland 🙂 I live in florida though, so ive grown up with theme parks

<< No, but I boinked...errr...I mean dated a Swedish chick for a year and a half. >>

Well thats reason enough to make me wanna go. 😀

You dont really have to learn swedish to get by there about 95% of them know english anyway so you should get by. My dad lives there and says its a really hard language to pick up, he has lived there for 3 years and goes to a swedeish language course and cant speak it fluently,

Tack means thankyou by the way pronounced how it is spelt

There you go, you've learnt one useful word 🙂

I'v been there once.

I guess that Sweden is like all the nordic countries, if you are under 30 you know english and most people over 30 know english also.
