anyone here done/know anyone, that has done A/AS leavels in computers Hardware/networking?

i'm gonna be doing my A levels next year and saw these courses offered at the colleges, are the courses usfull? cover good stuff?
i mean, i started GCSE I.T once but it was crap, just loads of spreadsheets, not the kinda thing i wanted to learne

Done A Level in Computer Science

Went into quite a bit of detail about things like the CPU, binary, hex, security, encryption, a little into networking, and quite a bit on databases and a lot of programming.
