I have a 5 gallon air tank I fill up at the gas station, I blow out my case when ever I take the cover off.

i use my vacuum, never killed anything yet. i do it whenever i start seeing dust cling to the blades of my fans(all 5 are very high rpm so this happens frequently)

I clean mine out... hook up an old shop vac, put the hose on the exhaust port, and away she blows... works wonders... gets out all the dust 🙂

My friend opened up his computer once....DAMN! There was a HUGE hairball, about 1/2" thick on dust (NO LIES!) and I, having the smallest of hands, had to plug back in the fan power cable, because it was attached to teh case...yikes.

I used a leaf blower on the laser printer at work once. Maybe I will do it again, just for fun. I will make sure to take some pics 🙂

I just use a good ol shop vac every once in awhile. Anyone who says this is bad is just passing on bad info. Back when I was in college, the IT hardware guys would clean the school computers with a shop vac every semester break, and there was never a problem from this, and I'm talkin about thousands of comptuers.

I throw my lappy in the dishwasher every once in a while to get rid of the excess drit and grime. Comes out squeaky-clean ever time😉😀😛

i turn my can of air upside down to freeze stuff when i'm bored. =Þ i should clean out my ms natural pro something soon.... spent an hour cleaning my friends keyboard cuz coke spilled into it. (my other friend did it) i already fried 2 keyboards.

For some reason my computer doesn't seem to get that dusty, although I do check it every few months for build up, just in case. 🙂

I only clean my PCs whenever I'm doing maintenance, which is not very often.

By the way, regarding cleaning keyboards: I haven't cleaned this one keyboard for over two years. I wonder how much 'stuff' will be hidden under the keys... :Q

I live right next to a major road... There's so much dust in the air that for 6 months I thought I had black screen doors - until I decided to clean them one day and realized they were originally white!!! :Q

Well, anyway, I dreaded the thought of letting all that dust freely circulate through my beloved machine so I bought some air filter material and covered up all the holes on the machine from inside. I still get some dust in of course, but it helps a lot. This way I only have to clean the filters, not the insides of the computer.

As for keyboard-cleaning... When I first bought my machine I could not find an MS Natural Keyboard anywhere and I did not want to waste money on some cheap model, so I waited till I could get my hands on the MS, and in the meantime I used a keyboard I took home from the lab. Man, that thing was so dirty I had to take off all the keys and give each of them a good scrub. Took me ages. Never want to do it again.

I once vacuumed my TV!!! 😀

I get naked, cover the inside of my PC with peanut butter, turn on some frank sinatra, fix a whiskey sour, and watch my dog lick it clean.

I can hardly wait for saturday nights to roll around *sigh* good times, good times.

I was thinking getting dust filter too. Does it reduce airflow? What type you got?
