I remember a while back a relative came from Switzerland and brought these amazing little chocolates that looked like tootsie rolls but was a chocolate truffle shell with liquid liqueur inside. You certainly dont expect the liqueur to be inside and comes as a nice surprise once bit into it. I'm looking for something like that or similar nice european chocolate to give as part of our wedding favors to our guests. Google search obviously returns a lot of sites, but I dont know which site is good or which chocolate taste good.

Does anyone know of a site where I can get such individually wrapped chocolates?

I grew up in Switzerland and had tons of chocolate growing up and hate american chocolate. I don't remember names of chocolate from there, but my gf got these for me when she visited Boston: Burdick.

They taste awesome! He uses Swiss, French and Venezuelan chocolate. Best thing, if you'd like to use them as wedding favors, they come in nice wooden boxes too.

For my daughter's wedding she bought about 200 of the little valentine hearts with four pieces of choc inside. They were 90 per cent off at CVS after valentine's day clearance. She figured that people were coming to celebrate the wedding, not to eat fine chocolates.
(she also got a bunch of bags of those candy hearts with words on them, also on sale, and sat there with little tulle circles and ribbons and made decorations while watching TV)

If you can afford it, those chocolates you want are fantastic and will make a great favor - good idea.
