Anyone heard of TP-Link

I'd think that it's another mfg which is trying to cash in on D-Link's name and marketing by using similar names and numbers. I think the same thing when I see Linkskey.

But why bother with an unknown when you can get known stuff (warts and all, whatever) for so little? E.g. DGS-2208 - $41 AR at 'egg.

I looked on newegg and must of missed it. I'll buy the dlink one then. thanks!

TP-Link is huge in Asia/Europe. Not so much in the US/North America. The TP-Link products I've used have been top notch. I especially like the wireless router (TL-WR641G). It is an atheros based 108mbps wireless router with lots of cool features, and has been very stable in use over the past several months. I will probably be switching it out when the N spec is finalized, but it has really been great.
