I recorded it but just listened to it for the first time today. What an incredible interview and what a great performance she gave on the show. Howard said she was one of the best live musical performances ever on his show and he's had pretty much everyone throughout the years. She really does have an amazing voice and talent.

Great interview and another home run for Howard Stern.

The entire interview including the two songs she performed lasted over an hour with no breaks.

Upload it to youtube. I'm both a Howard Stern and Gaga fan.

did she get in the tickle chair?

....ot the robo spanker?

I used to listen to HS on and off and stopped completely in early '07. I even met Bababooey and shook his hand in Dallas. Back in '97 I was at his movie premiere and won a cap with long hair attached to it.

Apparently nothing has changed.

I appreciate the musicianship of Lady Gaga, and from all the interviews I've heard/seen I think she is a very respectable and level-headed person among the sea of studio-created, bubble-headed glorified strippers that permeate pop music.

Having said that though, if Stern suggested she was "the best musical act he ever heard on his show" I can only imagine he's never had some actually rare talent on his show or he simply has poor taste in music. Either way, I have to roll my eyes.

He never said that, he said it was one of the best live performances ever on his show.

But it may be the most popular singer he has ever had on his show in the height of their career.

He has had Mcartney, but not exactly during Beatle Mania.

And you would be wrong. She really was that good. Just her playing the piano and singing solo. Amazing.

And no, she didn't take her clothes off or ride the sybian or get in the tickle chair. 🙄

I'd like to know who performed your lobotomy. HS is the king of all crap and to say that Lady Gagaaa has an incredible voice AND talent? Wow, the surgeon really took too much ...

What makes you say that?

He has had the most successful radio show in the history of radio, had two NY times bestsellers, a hit movie, successful TV spin-offs of his radio show, and at the very least partially responsible for the election of two governors. WTF have you done with your life? :awe:

I'm not even much of a Gaga fan (she's had a couple of catchy songs, but is hardly the profound songstress that I've seen a lot of people make her out to be), but even people that hate her should be able to at least admit her talent and voice. I'm baffled why she even bothers using autotune as well as she doesn't need to.

Talent wise, she's also a clear step above most, and in fact, while I think she ripped off much of her persona (there's a woman that she used to work with that she ripped a bunch from although I guess you could consider it an homage since the woman is dead; plus I can't think of anything that she's done that people like Alice Cooper and Madonna [oh and maybe say GWAR, haha] didn't do [decades] before), and I think a lot of her music is derivative and formulaic, her execution is still basically top notch (and considering just how bad execution has gotten in pop music lately, its sadly even more apparent).

I could see hating the persona and even the music, but come on.
