All their amps, guitars, everything was stolen Wednesday morning, heres a partial list of what was stolen:

I have their equipment. I was just doing them a favor by bringing it here so they could do a live set for me.

Hell yes they rock. The new album hasn't grown on me as much as Wonder What's Next or This Kind of Thinking, but then again I've only really had time to listen to it once. /queues up Vena Sera
 
damn that sucks.

I think most guys have completely given up on taking their most prized vintage equipment out with them on tour, because of pricks like these thieves.
 
The record company or themselves don't insure their equipment?

While it sucks, most of the guitars/basses and drumset will probably be replaced by the manufacture. If they have a signature model with PRS....PRS would be happy to give them 4-5 new guitars.
 
Most bands work on customizing and tuning their instruments. Also not every guitar plays like every guitar.

Some instruments sound better with age, esp acoustic guitars.

Some are also usually irreplacable.
 
I absolutely love chevelle. I didnt get turned onto them until my friend showed me their new cd.

this reminds me of when Joe Satriani's trailer got jacked on his way to St. Louis. Someone stole a few guitars, including his first Chrome Boy guitar (google it). He was seriously depressed and refused to play some songs because they only came out right if he had his chrome boy....
