Anyone having problems connecting to Verizon's news server?

I've got Verizon DSL, and I haven't been able to connect to my news server since last night.. (news.verizon.net)

Is anyone else having an issue with them, or is it just me...?

I heard you have to input your username + password now to access the news servers.

ahhh you know, that could be it...i've always been using it without a username/password...

too bad i don't remember that cryptic login info they gave me when i signed up way back when
