Anyone have Vongo?

i saw the commercial for that a few nights ago

not an option for me , my ISP is too slow

the commercial was slick, it has everything except stop all wars/famine/disease

I saw the comercial the other night and downloaded it but decided not to sign up after I found out they didnt have porn.

yeah so i'm bumping a new thread, oh well. anyway, has anyone used this yet? i'm tempted but would like opinions of others that have actually used the service.

I haven't, I'd imagine that the service is good although the only issue I see that might arise could be a lack of movie selection. Something like this definitely has potential, it's just a matter of getting it going.

The concept is interesting but needs to mature more. I've tried a service like this a couple years ago, can't remember the name of it. All the files used DRM and they didn't look as good as DVD because of compression (a movie came out to a 900MB download or so). I think I heard Disney is also starting something like this. The selection is small and the average user isn't going to want to wait 30-40 minutes for a 90 minute movie to download, then either sit at their computer to watch it or go through the hassle of spending more time transferring it to a portable device with DRM.

I just ordered my Toshiba Gigabeat S player (found a place that actually had them in stock thans to engadget) so Im debating getting a sub to vongo but Im going to hold off for now.
