I have a similar IBM keyboard, the IBM Active Response Keyboard with Internet Keys and Palm Rest and this is an excellent keyboard. IBM has long had the reputation of providing the best keyboards. A few years ago people were digging up junked computers just so they could salvage the IBM keyboard. It seems as if no company currently possesses a better reputation than any other company for the quality of their keyboards, yet this simple little IBM keyboard handles smoother and easier on the fingers than both my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic and my Belkin Ergonomic. I have never worked with a better keyboard than an IBM yet I do wonder if some of the new ones are better. You would do very well to purchase an IBM keyboard.

***Edit*** Sun Microsystems keyboards are also excellent and they have the added bonus of actually having the Ctrl key in the correct place.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it's a good thing I ordered the KB yesterday because the price went back up today!

Vadeetasjn, after you use the IBM for a couple weeks, could you post whether you find the IBM or the Logitech to be easier to work with. I have never worked with a keyboard better than an IBM or Sun but then I have not worked with a Logitech keyboard and your comparison would be informative. A basic comment is requested, nothing fancy or well written is needed. Thanks.

Sure, but truthfully, I'm expecting the IBM to have either a superior or similar "feel" than the Logitech. I always just assumed IBM keyboards were financially out of reach until I actually did some research and found one on their website for $29 and free shipping.

I am considering ordering this Keyboard link
A high price for a keyboard, but for a Thinkpad FANATIC it's all good.
Right now I have what I considered the best bang for the buck keyboard ever made : link
