The tiger is in quarantine in accordance with state law, Feldman said, and a decision on what to do with the animal won't be made until more is known about Horn's condition.

WTH does that mean? If he dies, they'll put the tiger down, but if he pulls through they'll spare its life?

it means that
roy requested the tiger not be killed.. if roy dies i imagine that request would not matter and he'd be put down.
The tiger will be isolated but not killed, it goes against everything S&R stands for.

chances of this happening were slim. over 30 years, and 30,000 shows, this is the first incident. so you can't really blame them for not expecting this.

you guys wanna see how someone gets killed? That dude got nearly killed, blood all over the place and you wanna see it? Some of you have a problem I think.

And the "I'm curious"-excuse doesn't count IMO.

I want to see it as an education experience. I think it's important for us to all be keenly aware of how wild animals can act, and if all we ever see is big cuddly 500 lb tigers it won't be as helpful to our perspective of the world as if we get the chance to see the raw might of one acting on instinct.

That, and the fact that yeah I just wanna see it. You say I have a problem? Maybe :(

I just find it kinda.... for me, it would be a video like for rotten.com, I mean that dude nearly got killed, the Tiger took him at the neck and blood was everywhere according to witnesses. It's like a video of someone in a car accident and doesn't die but you see how injured he is.

You should read 'life of Pi' lots of interesting bits in their about training tigers e.g. the tigers chosen are the least dominant (non-alpha) as they will be most submissive, weird story though still not sure of the ending.
