Anyone Have The Tribes 2 Download File...

Just wanted to know if anyone had the installation file...my cd is growing stuff on it and I know they gave out a free download of the game online. Can someone send me it or host it for me to d-load

They closed the File Download at fileplanet. And yes they did have it free but then they ran out of keys.

Ok..I just tried this trick, it seemed to clean the cd of that stuff growing on it. I'll insert it in a few minutes after it has dried.

Sucks for you, I had the install file till last week, when I deleted it for more space. In any case, I thought they shut it down for Tribes 3 (Maybe it was just my free key).

Man. I should dig out my Tribes 2 CD next week. That game was seminal. THe multi-man bombers and air battles, and tank battles were telling of things to come (battlefield) -- too bad it was so damn buggy.

It cleaned up most of the stuff - but now i get a different error...it was sound.v12 and now its lush.v12 (file) error. I'm going to clean it up more and see what happens - I guess more toothpaste and water. It seemed to help though..the install went by faster.

I'm going out and I'll do this when I get back in like 3 hours

Problem fixed...I made another pass with the floride and toothpaste and my disk didnt give any errors during the install.. thanks to all!
