Anyone have skin tags? Just cut one off with a nail clipper.

I've only ever had 3 or 4 and, usually, they don't bother me. But, I had one on my neck a few years back that I wanted to get rid of so I clipped it off with a nail clipper. It did bleed some but healed over perfectly. Just removed another small one. I knew these were just tags and not something else. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you knew it was just a skin tag.

Yeah I figured it's so small, why bother? 😱 😀

I didn't even know until recently that skin tags were something. Now they play that annoying commercial with the woman and her kid in the pool like 20 times a day.

I've used nail clippers to remove several warts. This is probably a stupid way to do it but I just keep cutting away at it till is bleeds. It will grow back as a wart many times but eventually you'll get it. Probably not the best idea. ()🙂

If you go to a doctor, they will give you a cream to remove the warts. Stuff works great.

My family doctor removes moles for $25 each. Considering it's virtually painless and there's no bleeding at all, I think it's worth it.
 
I have a skin tag below one eye and above the other, right on the eyelash line. No way in hell I can cut that off. I'd look like Rocky after a fight with Clubber Lang after that. And I can't put a band aid on it either, unless I wanna go with a full on eyepatch and scare everryone.
 
I always got them clipped off at a clinic so they could be analyzed. They may be more than just a skin tag.
Also, my doctor suggested anti-bacterial soap would reduce their occurrence, and for two years thats held true.
 
I had one once in the middle of my chest. Didn't know what it was, so I had the doctor look at it. He ended up scalpelling it of and stitching it up. Had a nice little scar after that.

If I was to get my moles removed that could easily cost me a few hundred.
 
That's all my dermatologist does when I get them removed. He grabs them with a little bitty grabbing implement and cuts them with a little bitty cutting implement.

All the more reason to cut those tags off. Eye patches arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cool.
 
When I get giant pimples or anything like that, I take a xacto knife, sterilize it with fire and rubbing alcohol, and then just stab/slice the thing off. Been working great.
 
cut a tag off my lower arm pit with a steak knife years ago. didnt bleed too much. healed fine. Have one on the inside of my thigh i havent messed with yet.
 
I have some just below my neck. Every now and then I will pick at one for a few days. It will hurt and bleed a little, then fall off.
 
I have a skin tag about the size and shape of a lentil on my waistline. Been there for years. Kind of annoying, but on the other hand I don't really have the balls to cut it off. If it was half the size I might but even then... ugh I'm afraid it would bleed too much.
