Anyone have protection against HEP A and or B?

Just got my last shot of twinrix for protection against both HEP A and B. Going on a trip so thought it would be good to get. Feels good to have the protection. Funny 5 years ago I would have rather jumped off a building than get a shot.

I can't remember which, but I'm pretty sure I got a series of HEP shots, cannot remember which one. I remember I got a Meningitis vaccine and a Hepatitis vaccine. Something mentioned on my college admission form as recommended/required before living in dorms.

HEP B vaccine (recombinant) about 16 years ago, with one booster about 10 years ago. Not sure how much protection I would still have.

Hep B vaccine about 10 years ago. Hep A vaccine about 4 years ago.

They gave us the shot for hepatitis 'B' in grade 7 or 8. I'm not sure if it goes obsolete or not? err.. do you need boosters?

The best protection against any disease is the Bible and prayer. You see, God will grant those who are worthy a cure to their ailments. Those who are unclean, will simply be allowed to die. Everyone knows this.

I thought the Bible acted as some kind of deflector beanie for bad things, even if you don't pray a lot? I hear just being within 10' radius of a Bible can be protective.

This is not true. God only protects those who acknowledge him through prayer and song. Carrying, or being near a Bible does not grant you protection from evil. The rules have changed much in the last few centuries.

Cool! The praying and singing are the really enjoyable parts, anyway, plus you can meet a lot of babes in church.

I suggest you rethink your motives for going to church. When you enter God's home it is unwise to prey upon his daughters. Remember this.

That's not the only reason I go to church. I said the praying and singing is enjoyable, plus our church serves great pastries and coffee. Besides, I think you have the predator and prey mixed-up. Have you ever dated the preacher's daughter, or the daughter of any overly religious household? Insatiable. God made 'em that way, didn't He? I trust that He knew what He was doing, and I give much thanks to Him.

God doesn't have any room to talk considering he's married to every woman who becomes a nun. Greedy punk. Then there's the whole having a child outside marriage thing about 2009 years back. Just went up to a sleeping woman one day and impregnated her while she was out cold. You know what we call such behavior nowadays? Rape. And did he ever send any child support money? Nope, tossed all his responsibilities onto some chump named Joseph.
