Just installed ZoneAlarm the other day...Windows2000....my computer just crashed twice and did that 'dumping physical memory' stuff....i was running media player and started up LimeWire and it did it...i believe it said the prob was my video card i have a NVIDIA TNT2 Model64, and 256Megs of RAM......but have had no probs till the ZoneAlarm install...

Just wondering...everything is fine with it shut off too.

Thanks.

Which version? The older versions 2.1.10 need a patch for Win2K. Currently using it with the patch and it works fine. Try their web site or IM me w/e-mail address for the patch if you need it.

I have been using ZoneAlarm and have no problem with my Win2K Pro. I am using nVIDIA GeForce2 32 MB and generic 256MB RAM.

The only thing is I could not hookup another PC on my LAN and use it for Internet Sharing with the ZoneAlarm on. So switching it off solved the problem.

I have ZAPro 2.6.84, Win2000, 256, TNT Card (Nvidia 12.10 drivers

All working great, no problems.

I did have problems with ZAPro and McAfee Clinic Virus.

I dumped McAfee, went with Innoculate, everything is smooth.

snowpeak:
to make your zone alarm work with ICS do this. Open the ZA dialoge box and click on security settings - advanced. in adapter sub nets put in ICSARE adapter and your eathernet adapter. In other computers put in the numbers for your computers like starting at 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.5 the whole zone numbers for your LAN that you have put in.

Try new version. I just upgraded and found that it is also more effective. I can now run it in high setting all the time making it more effective and everything works now, even with NAT. Before I had to run in medium mode all the time.
