I have had tons of problems with these drivers, and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced any problems.

Is it video related?

Had problems and eventually tracked the problem to the
AGP portion of the drivers.

I installed everything but the agp drivers. It solved the problem.

I think it is related to the IRQ Routing drivers, I get random lockups for like 6 seconds, then it starts again, then it locks again, etc. ,etc. The weird part is the Prime95 torture test just keeps chugging along...I am going to try a clean install of Windows again and install the Via drivers before anything else. What system are you running, Intel or AMD?

um,may seem a little left field insane,
but do you have the 15-16mb hole option enabled in your bios?
i know it is in direct relation to the sb live card,
also been hearing of local buddies havin probs with the 4.23's,
are ya installin them in turbo mode? if so,
are you enabling 4x on a vid card that is only 2x?
my tntu will run 4x at most things except a few ms games..
dont know if this helps,
but these are a couple things i've observed

my two cycles

I reinstalled Windows and installed the VIA drivers first thing and all is well. I think they just got screwed up when they installed the first time, and then it just kept being a problem. It's funny how that good old clean install of Windows fixes many problems.

Mickster- I am running in turbo mode (4x), sideband, and fast writes with no problems now. The Geforce is 4x capable...
