Ok.. I can see the drives during Windows install and in Windows... but I can't format it.
so far i've disconnected my ide drive completly.. disabled ide 1 in bios... still won't format in windows xp install.
i've also tried the f6 and loaded the 'nforce 3 SATA RAID Driver' disc that came with the motherboard and it still hung up..
right now i am on my normal bootup, windows xp detects the hard drive in windows.. i see it in disk management.. i can delete/make partitions.. but i just can't format it.. gaaaaaaah
btw.. hd is the sata seagate 200 gb baracuda (one from the dell deal)
