I wouldn't imagine they'd be very bright, but if you're in a situation where you need to use something like that brightness isn't the main concern.

Thats what I was thinking that the brightness would be awful.

I have one, and yes the brightness is pretty horrid. At anything less than full charge, it's almost useless.

But.. it's true that it will always work when you need it. It would be a lot better than nothing in pitch blackness.

I got a smaller version of the top one (the one with the working link) for my son. It lasted two months, which I suppose isn't bad for a 5-year-old's toy, but 'forever' it ain't.
