Was thinking of getting a bike to cut down on fuel consumption.

Already have car insurance through them and was wondering how much more it should cost to add a bike. They quoted me 350 for a year.

This high or low?

They are hard to beat for prices. Just make sure your coverage is good, and they are not cutting corners anywhere

I have my car insurance through them because their rates were the best. When I got a quote for motorcycle insurance, they were through the roof. I only pay $160/year for my 2006 V-Star 1100 through Progressive.

Interesting. I just went online and used progressive's web app for my '06 ZX-636R and Progressive was ALMOST $250 more than my Geico coverage.

The surprising thing is thats with a $1000 deductible on the progressive coverage compared to the $500 on Geico! I didn't even bother to adjust progressive to $500 to see what it raised it to, that was ridiculous.

You are either on your parents policy still or that's just liability only, or you're giving us internet #s.

I paid $300 a year on my old ass Suzuki GS500.
