It may have been bs, but i heard at one point some carries were drooping phones that didn't support the right 911 emergency location thing. Someone at the store i got my replacement phone from said it was good i was replacing it because they were discontinuing service with them i think. Only reason i upgraded was for bluetooth. on my phone now, i don't even use it. It has a good speaker phone.
I have 3 different starTAC phones at home. don't remember what models. The first one had like little dotted display and analog only. second one was analog/digital and did very well. the third was given to me for a spare, but never used it.
