iCloud has worked just fine for me and my friends since day one. They were even able to transfer all their settings to their new iPhone 4S when it came out by doing an iCloud sync after syncing the old phone with iCloud.

There are some minor issues with iOS 5 (like battery drain, etc) but iCloud has been working very well IMHO. I don't have a 4S so I can't comment on Siri or anything.

The sync for contacts worked but even still it does maybe 80% of the photos. A good example is when I went to a football game and came home. I took maybe 10 pics. It went through the first 8 and missed the last 2.

I'm not sure if it is supposed to do video as well but that just got left there. I imagine videos aren't included due to file size.

If I take the pics while on wifi it works fine but who takes pics at home that often? Especially using a phone?

if apple let you sync over 3G then it would be a customer service nightmare for the carriers. and the carriers don't really want this traffic over their 3G networks anyway

Yeah, I'm saying when I do get home and get on wifi, not all the photos transfer...

I didn't read through this thread but I had a 4S on sprint and returned it 10 days in. The voice service was spotty and had numerous dropped calls. The data service was very slow. The phone would go into "extended" roaming mode non stop and I'm pretty sure this lead to poor battery life.

I switched to Verizon and it has been terrific. I have had zero dropped calls, the data is fast and I have been able to make phone calls in elevators!

I'd hop on the Verizon bandwagon if I didn't have such a good deal with Sprint. I rarely go into extended service but I have noticed I dropped more calls with this 4s than I did with my blackberry.

I restored the phone last night, if any of my problem reoccur in the next 2 days it is going back.

I hear ya. Sprint had the best offer amongst the other 2 carriers especially with the unlimited plans but my coverage was awful. I had AT&T for the past 5 years after coming from Sprint and they (AT&T) were marginally better. VZ has been much better so far.

Verizon has always been the best in my opinion (been with them twice over the years). But that is also why they have that hefty price tag.

I am with you on that. I just jumped ship to Verizon, too. My Sprint coverage on my android phone was so spotty, & my 3g kept dropping to 1g randomly. I was going to get the 4s on Sprint, but at the last minute stopped in a Verizon. I ended up getting a 4(not 4s) for 200 dollars cheaper than the 4s(32gig). Signal is amazing & 3g is constant & much faster than on Sprint's network.
