Anyone have experience with this Socket A Athlon Motherboard?

Hello,

My friend is thinking of buying a barebones which includes an Amptron K7-805L Motherboard. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this board? I don't need to overclock or anything like that...just want to know of it runs stable and if it has any issues or anything.

I would stay away from any slot style CPU myself. They run OK but all manufacturers are making socket CPU's these days. Slots are dead and that could mean trouble at upgrade time. Is it free? That would still be a deal.

The info that I am seeing is that this is a SOCKET A motherboard, not a SLOT A. The diagram in the link shows the socket as well.
