If so, let me know.
Curious if you have any DOS drivers (NDIS or ODI) newer than 12/05

Having troubles getting a computer with the ET1310 ethernet controller to work with Symantec Image Center 5.6.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks

going by your other threads, if the 12/05 drivers are the ones you got from the manufacturer they're most likely the latest and greatest. have you tried going to an OLDER revision?

care to elaborate on your issues?

I am trying to deloy an image that is stored on a server to this computer.

Our current products use a Realtek 8169 and a 8139 controller. Not sure why the OEM switched to an old agere controller for our next gen product (we are in the engineering phase right now, and have requested that they go back to a realtek based controller)

Anyway, we currently boot to a floppy drive, this maps the network drive and launches the deploy center software. The computer and the server are both connected to a router. Works very well for as many as 96 computers at a time with the realtek controllers.
I have run the bootdisk builder and I believe I have it configured correctly.

Unfortunately, our router is a 10/100. I suspect that the driver is not negotiating the speed down to 100 or 10Mbps (even when I manually configure it to). I see no traffic on the router (with the current realtek based products, you see traffic like crazy). I ordered a gigabit router that I will try and see as a workaround.

Let me know if you have any questions or can help
