my upgrade to version 5.02 = most vids dont play properly and are all choppy n stuff...

i cant find 5.01 anywhere to download... does anyone have it and is willing to send it to me plz?

The adware they pack with the free version is horrible! Something called "GAIN" I think it's the same aholes who made that "Gator" thing.
It runs a process called "GMT.Exe" and eats up gobs of memory. Try searching for GMT.exe across your drives and you'll likely come up with nothing. Very sneaky.

im not sure why but ever since i upgraded to divx 5.02 it plays some movies all choppy

it was fine with 5.01 so i want to switch back but cant find it anywhere...

im not sure i did... i did manage to get 5.01 though so ill try fixing 5.02 and if it doesnt work i always have the 5.01 installer

There's no adware/spyware in the free basic version, which is perfect for playing back divx or doing basic encodes.

how can you not be sure? its in the startmenu shortcut that was installed by divx 5.02. just check it out, its called decoder configuration for a reason

ohh thaat?! i checked that alright... tried unloading as much stuff as possible onto my radeon but still no good....i did get a copy of 5.01 tho so ill test both separately...
