is it worth it?

do you need to pay the .86cents per $100 if you pay off your monthly bill fully?

thoughts?

I'd say it's worth it ONLY if you are in an unstable financial situation.

it's complete bs if you have a stable financial situation.

the fvcktard on the phone convinced me to use their 30 day free trial but turns out what they do is charge you the initial month and "refund" the fee when you cancel.

and yes they still charge you based on the amount you are billed for each month (WTF, so it doesn't matter if you pay off your monthly bill every month). When they say "There is no cost for any month in which you do not have a balance on your card," they mean you don't get charged IF you don't buy anything within that month and thus have a completely zero balance. This caught me off guard because I spent like 2000 bucks on the month they got me to sign up, paid the bill in full, but still got charged almost 20 bucks for absolutely nada~! :|

bunch of scam artists if you ask me.

It's not a scam at all. If you actually read things before you signed up, you would see why they bill you.

Credit protector essentially freezes your account if you meet the conditions they outline. This way, if you cannot pay, you don't wind up destroying your credit with late marks, and getting even deeper into debt.

Why should they provide this service free of charge? They're saving your credit history in the case you do actually need it.

Do you ask for your money back every month you pay life insurance and don't die?

All they do is make minimum payments if you meet the strict conditions they lay out. Let me tell you something, if you can't make the mimimum payments even while unemployed than your financial position isn't stable and you shouldn't have the credit cards anyway.
