it's a nice color actually. from the reviews it looks good but there's something i don't like about it - the inability to sort by metadata/tags. sorting by directory tree is fine, but since all my files are tagged properly it's nice being able to sort given additional data fields, like genre for example. i can then shuffle everything in, say, electronic. i suppose i could just as easily make additional playlists of entire genres, but that's semi-retarded...otherwise, the player looks kick-ass unless u lose the remote.

i would buy it, if it weren't for the issues with the tags.... i have 17GB of mp3's /oggs with almost no directory structure

Another thing that I don't like is that there is no LCD display on the unit itself. You have to use the wired display screen.
