anyone have any experiece in the IT audit field?

I am an MIS major, with about 3 semesters left started applying for a few internships and have an interview setup for an IT audit intern position. It will be for internal auditing, i never really seriously considered this type of job Ive been interested in something more IT hardware related, but ive heard that IT auditing is good money and ive been seeing full time positions for it. The company is looking for MIS students with preferably accounting experience which i do not really have. I just took the 2 basic accounting classes required for my major. Can someone fill me in more on the IT auditing field?
