Anyone have an XFX 6800GT with zero problems?

I have one, but I'm waiting on my RMA'd CPU to use it. I bought it on sale, but now I'm scared after reading all the horror stories on here about XFX.

i think all 6800GT owners are happy regardless of brand. problems would depend on what you consider, most of the problems video related are driver issues.

I've had 2x6800GT's go bad on me, but one was Leadtek and the other was BFG. The only problems i've heard specifically about the XFX line is that the customer support and RMA process is one big pain in the @$$

i'm completely happy with my xfx 6800gt. no problems whatsoever. customer support is a weak however (so i've heard). i know xfx had problems with their 6600gt line, but their 6800gts seems just as good as any other brand.

Keep in mind that users with problems flock to boards like these for help. The ones that are content probably don't come here.....you'll more than likely be A-OK...

All's good w/ my XFX 6600GT (AGP) so far.. runs hotter than I think it should, but it doesn't crap out or anything. So yeah, I'm one of those freaks with a "normal" XFX card... :)

Mine was DOA- RMA'd back to Newegg for an ATI card.

I know- stuff happens with electronics. Nonetheless, I was not too happy. At least Newegg let me return for another brand product ( despite being a return for same product only deal).

I bought a XFX 6800GT and it worked fine, althought it had memory clocked at 900MHz. I had fun with customer support, they were going around with wacky "possible solutions". Got sick of it, ask the store for a RMA. Got a new one week later. It was perfect, clocked at 350/1000. I checked with coolbits how high it overclock, it goes to 427/1170 without any artifacts! I run it at 350/1000 though, I'm not into OC. It's been running nicely with no problem for the past 3 months.

I read on here where someone else had the exact same thing on their XFX. That seems very odd.

Yea, I'm starting to think most of the problems are on the 6600 GT line. That's good news for me.:D

notice how the thread about them sucking is way more popular than the thread about them being decent ;)

a lot of the people who hate on xfx never even owned an xfx brand card, they just read about how bad their service is or how poor quality their products are. if you think xfx is the only company with problem cards, go to www.evga.com and check out their messageboards. i'm pretty sure the quality of the xfx 6800 gts cards is just as good as other brands. now their customer service, that they may need to work on.

I don't know if this helps, but i have an XFX 5900 and it works really well as expected.

There was some bastard around here who kept overclocking his XFX cards and asking for RMA's.

Look at the card in my sig, couldn't be happier(unless it was an ultra). not a GT, but i'm happy nonetheless. No problems so far, and for the short time i had a stock cooler on it the temps were between 63-75. Fortunantly, i havn't had to deal with customer support yet, hope i don't have to.

I was happy with mine for a few months(bought it in August), but then now it's giving me artifacting problems, and I'm in the process of getting an RMA from XFX. Actually I just sent them an email over the weekend but haven't heard from them yet.
