oink has anything and everything. I do have a few invites...I think I am up to 10 because I have been there a year. It has some applications and basically any music you could ever want. Being a private site, make sure you read the rules and keep a positive ratio or you WILL be kicked/banned in roughly 3 weeks time.

Oink has a ton of stuff, but the main attraction would be music. Since its a private site, you'll have to keep your ratios up, and if you d/l anything BUT music, you're ratio will suffer (hardly any leechers).

Its simply a torrent listing site (i.e. piratebay, torrentspy, etc) but "private"... as in, you have to be invited, follow all the rules, or be kicked.

Or are you asking what BT is? if so, thats a totally different question :X

this isnt entirely true. I have uploaded around 150gigs i think. I have about 90gigs downloaded and I can roam freely for a while like this 🙂

I think they just dropped their leach ratio down to 0.5. Which means i can download about 110gigs without them touching me.
 
Oink is a private tracker that has any album you could ever want. They have extremely high bitrate requirement (192kbps is the minimum) and will delete any transcodes upon discovery. Never in my life have I found a more-seeded torrent tracker...there is always a ton of seeds for even the most obscure stuff. They have pretty high ratio requirements, but it's only fair for such a high caliber site. Overall, if you're big into music, and are looking for many full albums, oink is for you!

edit: They have every genre of music, mac apps, windows apps (including OSes), and ebooks. No games or movies, however

Methinks this statement made you a popular fellow. 😉 I've heard this site is amongst the hardest to get into. Sounds great from the descriptions, I assumed it was just "current release" music, but it appears the selection is much better than I expected. I admit I'm a little envious now. 🙂
