I have a DIM 4550 and a 512MB stick of Kreton VT memory from K-byte I can still return. I'm considering getting Corsair value select VS512MB333 instead. I'm wondering if it would be a little faster.
My friend also has a DIM 4550 with 512MB stick with Samsung chips from Dell. The only test that shows a difference from the Kreton VT in this system is the AIDA32 ver.3.50 memory benchmarks.
Samsung - read 2497/write 878 MB/s
Kreton VT - read 2402/write 733 MB/s
Can someone who has a DIM 4550 with recently purchased Corsair value select VS512MB333 (using Spectek chips I believe) run the AIDA32 benchmarks and post the results here?
