I'm thinking about buying a Westinghouse wireless intercom system for my parents for Christmas this year. Their house is pretty big and what usually happens is Dad gets involved in whatever project he's working on and doesn't hear my Mom calling him and she has to go find him.
They sell them as a kit, which includes two indoor receivers, and you can buy the receivers separately. The kit is $55, an extra receiver is $35.
It looks like with the kit, you just get two receivers, and it'd be make more sense just to buy two kits rather than pay $55 and $35x2 to get four receivers.
So has anyone used these? Will I be able to do that and maybe save some money?
