Anyone have a laptop with a WLED screen?

Apparently Dell now has a WLED screen on certain laptops (White LED).
I was wondering if anyone had seen one or has one and could give me their impressions.
Thanks.

btw if this is the wrong forum, please move the post.

wtf kind of acronym is that. i have GLEDs on my keyboard, apparently.
HeHe.
Here's what it says on the Dell site:

17.3" High Definition+ (900p) WLED Display with TrueLifeTM (Std)
17.3" Full High Definition (1080p) WLED with TrueLifeTM (Optional in September 2009)

From wiki:

White light
There are two primary ways of producing high intensity white-light using LEDs. One is to use individual LEDs that emit three primary colors[43] – red, green, and blue, and then mix all the colors to produce white light. The other is to use a phosphor material to convert monochromatic light from a blue or UV LED to broad-spectrum white light, much in the same way a fluorescent light bulb works.

Other white LEDs
Another method used to produce experimental white light LEDs used no phosphors at all and was based on homoepitaxially grown zinc selenide (ZnSe) on a ZnSe substrate which simultaneously emitted blue light from its active region and yellow light from the substrate

I don't think there is any discernible difference between displays marked as LED backlit, and those marked as WLED backlit. According to some Google searches, Dell has been using that terminology (WLED) for as long as they have been offering LED backlit screens. So, I think that it might just be their lingo.
