ok, people instead of just saying "i like my job"......how about a little description of what you do??? 😕

😀

Well, if you really want to know 😀

I work for LEGO Company in their IT Department - supporting PC and Mac users across UK, France and Benelux as 1st level support as well as being responsible for our UK ADSL connections. I do some Server Stuff too.

the question begs to be asked: do you get to play with Legos on the job?? Lego routers? Lego servers? how fun would that be???

Yep - I get to play with Lego while working (have quite a few new Star Wars toys on my desk at the moment). Unfortunately we haven't moved into computer hardware yet 😉

It is great though - I love the new Lego Star Wars game, obviously I'm testing that rigorously at the moment

awesome 😀

Legos rock

anyone work in a completely non-computer related field?

I work for a third-party insurance administrator, setting up newly hired employees and billing the employer for the monthly premiums, then remitting most of those premiums to the underwriting insurance companies. I work in my home, 200 miles from the office where I was originally hired to work. Which means I am my own tech support for hardware, software, and network. I get paid a city wage to live out in the boonies (read: low cost of living), as opposed to working for just over minimum wage in a local office. It's not by any means a pud job, but not too hard, either. The hardest thing is making myself work when I'd rather curl up with a good book, or nef on ATOT.

I am so lucky, it's scary.

I worked on a christmas tree farm for about 2 years, that was probably my favorite job. Outside all day, sense of accomplishment. There were crappy days of course but I still loved that job just didn't pay enough.

teacher? counselor? juvenille detention home officer? 😛

I love my job as a land surveyor/engineer (currently in college, work during the summer) I'm outside all the time, get to travel a lot, always meeting new people. The long hours sucks sometimes and the weather can make or break your day but I enjoy it.

Love my job....I'm self-employed.

what business?
I repair water leaks, wind noises, and sunroofs on automobiles. I service about 11 dealers in the area.
I don't have to stay at one place all day, I work outside most of the time, and I hardly ever leave the house before 10am.

I work for a Document Management company, and we offer services like records retention, file management, management services, and a whole bunch of stuff.

My official title is "Senior Imaging Architect" which doesn't sound anything like I do. I do a lot of Project Manager/Business Analyst -type things, e.g. Agency BPRs, Consulting, Process Engineering, (loads) of documentation, and Internal/External Training.

I'll be going for my PMP later this fall and applying for Business school as well. I'm hoping Chicago or Michigan, but we'll see. 😀

I do come from a tech background though, having worked with BMC Software, the IT dept at UT-Austin, and Trilogy, but I've been venturing out towards the Strategy portion of Business.

I work part-time for an afterschool program and I love it. A poor neighborhood so the kids are dirty ones, and the building is real ghetto but they are all great kids.

i love my job.. SAP programmer... receive a lot of satisfaction seeing many people use my end product... pay isn't bad either..

I drive a parasail boat in the summer time and get to flirt with girls in bikinis all summer long and I also get paid to go fishing.
