SUMMARY
Responsible for providing technical support and training to host and network end-users and for installing, troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Responsible for understanding the concept of Continuous Process Improvement, utilizing the tools associated with it, and applying CPI in daily work.
? Responsible for reporting to work on time, taking required breaks, and working for the full amount of time scheduled before leaving, or notifying the supervisor if any deviation from these responsibilities is necessary.
? Provides technical support to host and network users.
? Analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs hardware and software failures.
? Assists in troubleshooting voice and data communications issues.
? Recommends the purchase of new hardware and software as needed.
? Installs and configures PC hardware, software, peripherals, and computer and telephone cables in various locations throughout the branch and Affiliate network.
? Performs equipment preventative maintenance.
? Assists with client and network software application enhancement updates.
? Maintains hardware maintenance agreements and software licensing databases.
? Maintains information systems equipment inventory and on-line inventory database.
? Monitors and enforces security of information systems assets.
? Acts as backup to the Computer Operator as needed.
? Responsible for using Integrity when reviewing managers/peers by using the 360-degree performance review system.
? Other essential duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

? Good understanding of personal computer hardware and software components
? Basic understanding of UNIX systems and data and voice communications.
? Two (2) years experience troubleshooting, supporting and repairing client hardware and software components. Must be proficient supporting and repairing WINNT 4.0 and WIN 2000
workstations in a network environment.
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
? Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals and
guidelines, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, members and vendors.
? Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software. Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
? Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities while meeting heavy deadlines.
? Strong ability to effectively resolve software and hardware issues and implement long term solutions.
? Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills used to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff members through letters, e-mails, proposals, reports and evaluations.
? Ability to type 45 WPM, and the ability to type up to 80% of a workday.
? Ability to operate a 10-key calculator, and the ability to use the calculator up to 10% of a workday.
? Ability to travel to branch locations as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
? Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, dividends, proportions and percentages.
? Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry and basic accounting principles.
