Anyone have a HPI Micro RS4?

Seriously thinking about getting one of these, the new RX-7 body for it looks just too good to resist. Was going to go with a Bit Char-G for around $30, but I got a bonus on my last paycheck, which is making the Micro RS4 tempting.. 😀

You want a Mazda body on an Audi r/c car? Am I understanding? Both are nice cars... just curious as to why you'd want to mix and match.

The bodies should be interchangable so you'll never be able to tell the difference. The outside shells are just pretty shells for people to see.

No no no.. I meant this.. Micro RS4

Those are nifty and fun. My 1/10 scale tamiya TAO4 Ferrari Modena can take it easy though. 🙂

OMG, these are even better than the ones from Toyeast. Good Campany too. I talked myself outta buying the ones posted in hotdeals, But I gotta get one of these now 🙂

Thanks

Josh

HPI is a good brand with a huge aftermarket following. Sadly, i lost interest in the hobby. I had a Super Nitro Rally.

You gotta front the cash to get the goods. You can't compare the Bit Char-G to the Micro RS4s or the Kyosho Mini-Zs. They're all unique.

Thank god for my $300 bonus I got in my last paycheck.. 😀 I'm probably gonna stop at a local hobby shop and see if they have the one I want, parts, etc.. if not, then I'll get it from Towerhobbies.

Yea i know, But still thats alot of cash for a little itty bitty thing.

GOD DANG 200 bucks 😛

its worth it. Those things are fast. I HIGHLY suggest you get a nitro car. They are more work, but are faster and last longer between fill ups.

$99 with body for the kit at towerhobbies... good if you have radio, etc. rtr is $199 though.

I'd get a nitro set up as well, but my friend is giving me his setup when he joins the Air Force. I like the Micro RS4 cause you can use it indoors.

these are fun.. 2 of my roommates have them... they're basically totally customizable.. they're cool.. good size to drive outdoors or indoors (better outdoors unless you have a big room for a track indoors)

we each have mini-z's.. those are fun too, but not as customizable... but i think they're a better size for indoors

but anyway.. seems you decided on the micro rs4.. they're really fun, but will cost you more money... oh... about that, parts for micro's are usually cheaper than the mini-z's even though the micro parts are bigger...
