I can't believe there's no good ones out there. and most of the software ones are shareware. i'm not so handy with excel so mine would look like a mess.

does anyone currently use one?

I could use one as well. Let me know if you find one.
 
I wrote one to do exactly what I want it to do... unfortunately it's not multi-user friendly yet. It is web-based.
You could also try googling online training log, or something similar. They're online though.
I'm not sure if they'll offer the functionality you want.
 
I was looking for the same thing the other day. So I started building a database with filemaker to keep track of my daily diet, listing all the carbs/protien/fat etc. I was also thinking of adding in some exercise data for my workouts... but it's still a work in progress, as I'm still learning how to get the most out of FileMaker. 😕
 
I have a great paper one that one of my prof's gave us to use, but I'd have to scan it and I don't have a scanner handy
 
thanks for the suggestions so far. gonna dig a bit more. might even look into that HST method a bit; almost time to change up my routine anyways.
