Cool. I just got back into Diablo II recently, and it's sad how weak Necro's still are. 🙁 🙂

ah? you must be playing xpac... in classic, necros rule. a bitter one to admit but true(sorc + barb guy here...) not trying to brag or anything, but i am a very skilled dueler with a vitabarb and it takes my best efforts to break 40:60 against a good necro 😱
sorcs have easier time, yet it is very laborious if the nec is equipped with 275+ CR gear - expect 3+ minutes of flawless control. 95+ FR diminishes fireballs sorcs to harmlessness..
never seen a single pally killing a good necro. it would be a funny site if a zon comes halfway close to beating a nec 😀😀😀
 
1.10 Necros in LoD are the sure good thing to keep a group alive in Hell mode. Skeletons!

Curse are also very helpful to the group. Sorcs are your main dmg dealers, so you can use Lower Resist + Corpse Explosion I suppose.

EDIT: One of the best duelers I ever saw in D2x 1.10 was a Necro. He had Enigma armor on (unlimited teleporting) and mad resists/HP. Used mainly Bone Spirit/Spear. He could teleport next to someone, fire off some spells, and be gone in an instant.

You know what the sad thing is, my Necro is level 85. I'm serious, he's level 85 and he sucks. Well, just last night I finally got some good gear. Hopefully he'll stop sucking soon. What account name do you play under?
 
people, start playing some diabloii classic! bigger and badder aint always better... much better balance and fun factor in dueling 😉 less item-dependant too 😀
