I'm wondering the same as well. I want to get it but don't know how much of a XPS/gaming laptop it will be with a 7400. They could of atleast put a 7600 in it.

into a 12.1 inch form factor? that's like asking for a x1600 in a 12.1 inch lappy. it's unpossible!

afaik the smallest "gaming" lappy you with that class of video card is the asus w3j @ 14.1 but it'll cost 1800.

I have a M1210 and I like it a lot. I've owned 3 laptops prior to this one and I've gone smaller in size each time. The M1210 is bulky for it's size but it's still small enough so it's not a hassle getting in and out of my bags. The 7400 Go can game better than I thought it would too. I've been playing Titan Quest successfully at medium settings and 2xAA. I have Oblivion loaded up too and it doesn't run too bad. I'm still tweaking it though. I almost went with the Asus W3J but I was able to get the M1210 with 2GB of ram and 2 batteries for about $1600. Didn't get in on the XPS coupon glitch but I'm pleased.

If you like small laptops, and are an occasional gamer, you will love it!
I just got mine for ~ 1500 US $ equivalent in India and am loving it.
GTA-SA/NFS-MW are what I am playing on it right now and both run perfect with 2XAA

You may also want to look at the Sony Vaio SZ series but I hear the build quality is a little flimsy (In comparison , the XPS feels much more tough)

I got the m1210 during the glitch with the GeForce. The only game i've played on it has been Heroes V and it runs great.

Not really looking for small... the price point is what attracted me at least.. 1400..
Oh, missed this bit out
If you are not too intersted in a small form factor, why don't you look at the Dell E1505
With the 30% off coupon, you can get it with a Radeon X1400 + Core Duo t2400 for ~$800-900
A lower specced M1210 will set you back by over 150% of that price
