After seeing that UT3 thread just posted, I decided that I want to use 3 monitors instead of the current 2 (I have 1 19" and 1 15" running right now)
Does XP natively support 3 monitors? Also are there any issues with taking some crap PCI video card and using that to power it?

well, i dont think that XP would support triple monitors without some outside help. IIRC, at an NVDA demo, they had a dual 18" screen steup with a GF 4, and they had software that made it work flawlessly on xp pro.

you might wanna try the GH forum.

it works fine i know a bunch of people here at work that have 3 monitors. finding three good pci video cards is harder then it sounds though.

you can have as many monitors in xp as you can fit video cards in your computer, the only problem is sometimes video card drivers make some assumptions about what memory they have access to and they bug check eachother. ihave had good luck with 1 nvdia and one 3dx card in the machine for multimon. 2 3dfx cards seem to not work for me as well as 2 nvidia cards.

The max number of moniters supported is a very high number which you wouldn't reach even by filling your PCI slots with video cards :)
