I just read that thread so it is a good monitor eh? I could get it for around 800$ here in Switzerland, not too bad

Theres nothing wrong with lurkers, they just chose to not share their opinion. I was once a lurker at this site, deciding if I wanted to belong to the community.

I haven't heard anything bad about the monitor.

I have the 191t (the 19" version). This monitor has excellent clarity and color. It handles games quite good, it is occasionally a little choppy, but my brother has a planar and his is also. Overall, this is one of the best flat panels out.

I have the Dell 1900FP (Samsung 191T) and love it.

Dell 1900FP for me too. A greeaatt monitor, I love it. I've seen the 181T and it looks as good as the 1900FP/191T. Read the giant LCD thread over at Ars too, you'll find lots of opinions there.

BTW - I was a lurker too, for a few years until I got up enough courage to join up and ask questions. Eventually I even figured I could make a positive contribution to the forums (foraa??) and started posting answers.
