I still love my MX518, i just got a replacement for my old one which cr***d out, but just yesterday i was thinking i need even more buttons....and this mouse looks like a god-send for WoW players...

I was thinking about getting this for aion, I went from the MX518 to a razer deathadder which I like better, but this just looks great for MMO's. The buttons all look pretty easy to use with your thumb an everything, how much is it anyway?

Looks like it'd be good for MMO players but not to the FPS players. The buttons on the side would accidentally get clicked with all the mouse moving.

yes its designed for MMOs. Its about $79 or €60 - not cheap...but if this works only halfway as good as it looks i might go for it. It also comes with addons for WoW, stuff like that.

Yeah I was considering trying this as well because I hate pvping on a normal setup. It's just too annoying to move around with WSAD and try to hit hotkeys like alt+7 or something. I can do it fine in instances but in pvp when people are running around you it's too easy to lose your LOS if you stop to hit a hotkey.

LULZ @ pic above.

Interesting looking...wouldn't work for my fps titles though.

This mouse looks ridiculous. I can't imagine it being very easy to tell which button you're mashing with the edge of your thumb.

I have it, and it is great for most things. I enjoy using it for FPS and MMO alike. I think it is amazing for Dragon Age as well because you can use the side buttons to answer dialog. But it is quite expensive for some minor comforts.

i have it and i like it. note that it binds to either your numeric keys along the top row (1 through 0 keys, minus and equals key) or the corresponding ones on your numpad. you can select between them via a hardware switch on the bottomside of the mouse. supposedly they will release a driver that allows you to reporgram what the buttons map to but until then assume they wont. if you can get over this limitation you will love the mouse. i also upgraded from an mx518.

This mouse (which is the first Razer mouse I've used) is really comfortable. I play WoW quite often and I enjoy having some of the more "vital" buttons mapped to my mouse. The only reason I bought a new mouse was because my G7 started the randomly losing connection BS and Logitech never helped resolve it. So, rather than spending my money on another (which I loved) I went with a different company.

really?

logitech has always been great at sending me new mice when they die within the warranty period. I'm actually on my 5th G7 they only ever last about 2 year (3 year warrenty). 2 had the random connection issue and 3 of them had the random dbl click issue. i actually just sent one to them last week and the new one is on they way. Using a Steelserirs Ikari till the new one gets here.

They'd sent me one prior but this current lasted around 7th months and started the stuff again. They haven't even responded to my emails this time around, so I gave my money to another company.

I had a MX518 (many years old) which started the disconnecting stuff - but in this case my cats chewed on the wire and i think this was the reason. It still lasted for many many years.

As for the buttons on the mouse...i cant have enough...but this mouse....i think i need to test it in a store to get an idea how it feels first.

I've had the disconnect crap happen on like five MX518s & an MX510. Actually i think fix MX518s...a lot of them, anyway...pretty much would happen every few months.

I've since gotten a G5 as i got tired of the constant MX5xx disconnect issues (& it got hard to find MX518s), & the G5 has been fine for over a year now, though unfortunately the DPI button is wearing out & doesn't work well anymore.
