Whatever feels best for you... it's entirely a personal preferance thing.
Me? I LOVE the ergonomic MS Natural Lite Keyboard. Got em at work, got em at home... NO COMPLAINTS!

I prefer just the cheap Microsoft Internet keyboard. Picked mine up from Staples for $25. It's pretty nice for that price.

Get one with a detachable keypad. I love having my mouse within easy reach (and being able to "ten-key" with my other paw).

I use a Dell QuietKey I bought from Netseller. It works very well. :)

I have a Logitech NewTouch Compact. You can't actually get them anymore, but it's more or less like their Cordless natural one, it's about the same size and shape, but it has no internet/mm buttons like the cordless and it has a cord.

It's an ergo, with solid clicky buttons, no extra mm/internet buttons, and it's fairly small (for an ergo).

I like the logitech's better than MS becaue the logitechs are solid and clicky, I like that better than soft and quiet, but that is 100% personal preference, neither is "better quality". I find the clicky keys easier on my fingers, but that's my opinion. My roommate hates the clicky keys.
I like the full size MS Natural Pro, because all the extra keys are arranged normally Home,End,PgUp,PgDn,Insert,Delete are oranized funny on the Logitech, I like it better once I got used to it, but it is different...the smaller MS one has the arrow keys arranged funny...the full size MS one has normal Home,End,PgUp,PgDn,Insert,Delete and normal arrow keys. And the MS one has a 2 port USB hub in it (this of course only works if you use in USB mode, and notin PS/2). But the full size Pro one is expensive and I like solier feeling keys.

I LOVE this MS Natural (the one with the buttons on top for volume etc, got those for volume control when I had POS peakers.) Anyway, if you like the loud 'click' style(old IBM), dell still sells those.

You can hook both of the USB and PS/2 up and run the board off the PS/2 port, I had USB board support off in my BIOS and it still works oin DOS based stuff like PMagic and DriveImage.

Another vote for Microsoft keyboards. It's funny that a company with "soft" in the title makes better hardware than software. :D

I have both the Internet Keyboard, good for a standard model, and the Natural Elite, which is nice for an ergonomic (takes some getting used to -- the arrow keys are screwy, though).

The original MS Natural kb for me is strange b/c I use other "regular" keyboards at work, so it's weird to have the number 6 for left hand only on the MS. Plus the overall shape of the thing is hard to "sight in" perpendicular to your body--if it were the only kb I used, I could adjust to it. Apparently lots of people didn't like it for some reason cuz MS changed it.
KB are definately a personal preferance thing.

I think this is a pretty important thread to respond to.
I have to take anti inflammatories but now only when I was typing up my website 6 hours a day did my 50+wpm start getting to my hands on a normal keyboard. I was fast but very tappy, hands rarely resting.
I have the Microsoft Natural Elite and though it felt a bit cheap at first, it is much more relaxed and safer under heavy use for you. You can type whilst resting your palms (I couldn't do this with my long fingers on a straight keyboard).
I think people who like key clicking are a bit weird. Who wants to listen to that and the action is usually heavier.

Hey I'm on anti-inlfamitories too! I nca't wait to see what my wrists are like in 30yrs from now...

The MS Natural has helped my wrists/hands A LOT... whil eit does take getting used to, once you get the knack of it, you can't go back.

Anyways, time to pop some pills I'm sure.

My (last) $.02 is no matter what you get, get something ergonomic or at least a wrsit rest!
