anyone had yahoo fix a login problem with a yahoo mail account?

i was just logged into one of my yahoo mail accounts, then logged off and soon after tried logging back in because I forgot something... then I can't log in anymore, continued to say password invalid, until the account now got disabled for 12hrs.

are they gonna be able to help me out or is that account forever closed.



the ebay email I got regarding a 'password change' request showed me the IP from where the request was made from.. I did a tracert:

well, i hope that's not the case.... i ran a 'scan' on my pc and found the delf trojan horse. i suspect via that trojan somebody took my password and changed it or something... but my repeated attempts to log int froze the account.

i found some other kind of crap on my machine that day as well...


i have since got my account back after mindlessly guessing possible conbinations of my 'alternate' email, my date of birth, city, zip, that i used when creating the account. one combo worked and i got to the point of being able to reset my pw.


after doing this and logging back into my email, i saw that my ebay email address had been changed (got confirmation to my inbox)

see a posting of a auction for some electronic device

see 'my auction' get pulled by ebay

see my account suspended by ebay


other than that, everything else seems okay...
