Anyone had any luck with Skype on Tmobile?

Does it work? Does it allow free time over voip? Gimme the scoop guys as I think i am about to get either the cliq or the my touch 3g...

It can work provided two conditions are met. a) T-Mobile offers 3G coverage in your area. b) There is a Skype client for Android phones.

I have read on several occasions that it wont work, thats why i asked. I talked to the customer service rep at tmobile and they said that it should work too. I just want to know if anyone here has gotten it to work, and how solid it is? Thanks anymal!

No probs, buddy! I am not on T-Mobile so can't answer your question fully, but can tell you that it does work on AT&T 3G. Send a PM to bababooey; he's a cellphone whore and on T-Mobile.

i just checked out the skype client. there doesn't seem to be free calling. you can recieve skype calls, but it uses up your skype account balance. you can call outbound, but it connects you to a local number first, so it uses your minutes. basically, no voip/data calling right now.
