Anyone gotten Thief 3 to work in Win 98?

I just downloaded the demo and can't get it to work. The requirements say that Win 98 isn't supported. That doesn't mean it won't work at all does it?

if they make a point of stateing that it's NOT supported i would assume that since it's not working it probably isn't going to. you can probably get an oem copy of WinXP in FS/FT for $30-40 so just break down and upgrade. 98 is no longer supported so just ditch it, things are only going to get worse.
