i don't think that means anything to anybody not at mit... 😉

that said...probably 18.04, 18.303, some hass, 6.041, and maybe 6.001

Take 6.001, it's fun 😛 the power of LAMBDA!

BUS 312: Principles of Marketing
BUS 314: Business Finance
ITM 353: Information Systems Analysis and Design
ICS 312: Machine-Level and Systems Programming

+ 1 other class.

total: 15 credit hours.

This is hopefully what I can get when I register in December.

I'm curious, what's the logic behind that numbering scheme?

They're a bunch of nerds, what would you expect. Besides, floating point numbers are much more sexy than three digits and some letters.

I don't have the exact schedule on me, but I'm done by 10:30am on MWF and then 11:30 on TR so my plan is goto class and then come home and goto sleep.

First number corresponds to major, 6 is EECS, 18 is math, 8 is physics, 21 is humanities arts and social sciences (hass), etc. The remaining numbers relate to the course difficulty and placement in the curriculum. .01 and .001 are intro classes, if there's a class with .0x, then a class with .0xy (where y is another digit tacked onto the same number) will be harder. Ex: 8.01 is intro physics and 8.012 is kick your ass intro physics. The progression of numbers is a little arbitrary but I think there's some logic to it.
